Casa Rosell

Located in the heart of Tarragona, Casa Rosell occupies the main floor of one of the city’s most iconic protected buildings. Its façade, over thirty metres long, looks onto the Rambla and opens towards the sea, making the residence a privileged viewpoint over the Mediterranean.

At LUV Studio, we approached the project with a clear respect for the building’s architectural memory. The intervention updates the interiors without losing their original character, restoring mouldings, cornices, woodwork and ornamental details that define the home’s noble identity.

More than a renovation, Casa Rosell is a careful balance between heritage and contemporary living. As an architecture studio, we bring new life to its grand spaces through refined materials, functional solutions and a sensitive reading of the building’s history.

With approximately 350 m², the residence is organised into two complementary areas. The formal zone includes a circular living room with sea views and an elegant dining room, while the more intimate area brings together the kitchen and an adjoining lounge as the everyday heart of the home.

This home interior design project enhances the generous proportions of the rooms, the height of the ceilings and the natural light that enters throughout the day.

The main suite, with two balcony doors opening onto the Rambla, combines privacy, elegance and a constant visual connection with the exterior.

The scale of the volumes, the softness of the finishes and the presence of the Mediterranean create a serene residential experience, deeply connected to the architectural and cultural context of Tarragona.
