HISTORIC RENOVATION

A Mediterranean jewel in Ibiza

Bougainvillea Villa is the result of transforming a former 18th-century monastery into a private residence where history, architecture and Mediterranean calm coexist with quiet sophistication. In this project, LUV Studio approached the renovation with a sensitive contemporary vision, preserving the building’s original character while enhancing the serene beauty of Ibiza.

The outcome is a home that interprets the island’s way of life through refined architecture, noble materials and a carefully balanced relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces. As an architecture studio, we shaped every decision around memory, function and emotion, creating a discreet yet distinctive residential experience deeply connected to its landscape.

INTERIOR DESIGN

Warm and authentic interiors

Inside, the spirit of Ibiza is present in every detail. Continuous floors, original arches, preserved wooden beams and the delicate texture of lime stucco repeated across all the walls create a serene backdrop where natural light becomes central.


The interior design focuses on elegant, honest and highly livable spaces.

The bespoke kitchen, with its green microcement island, the open living area and the bedrooms reflect a vision of luxury interior design based on texture, comfort and visual continuity. Each room forms part of a coherent narrative where historic architecture and contemporary comfort meet with subtlety.
