A SEAFRONT RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

Contemporary architecture in dialogue with the island

Villas Antiparos is an exclusive new-build residential development comprising eight homes, located on the seafront in Agios Georgios, on the Greek island of Antiparos. Conceived through an integrated approach to architecture and interior design, this project represents Luv Studio’s first intervention in Greece and is shaped by a sensitive response to place, climate and the Mediterranean way of living.

The architectural proposal blends into its mountainous surroundings, just moments from the beach, through a clear implantation and simple geometric lines that adapt naturally to the terrain. The use of local materials and continuity between spaces results in a timeless, calm architecture deeply connected to the identity of the island.

CONNECTED SPACES AND SPATIAL CONTINUITY

Architecture designed to be lived and enjoyed

The homes are arranged on a single level and adapt organically to the different levels of the site. The layout brings together areas for rest and privacy with day-time living and leisure spaces, each conceived to be fully enjoyed while giving a central role to the surrounding landscape.

Outdoors, each residence within the Villas Antiparos development features an infinity pool facing the sea, complemented by pergola-covered terraces and sunlit resting areas. Architecture enhances outdoor living, climate and landscape, reinforcing a lifestyle closely linked to life in the open air.

Strategically positioned pergolas guide visual perspectives and strengthen continuity between different areas, creating smooth transitions between interior and exterior. These shaded zones offer places to pause and disconnect, always maintaining a direct connection with the horizon.

NATURAL LIGHT AS A PROTAGONIST

Light shaping space

Natural light becomes one of the defining elements of the project, structuring spaces and turning everyday living into a distinctive experience. Interiors are conceived as open and permeable, allowing daylight to enter throughout most of the day and generating a constant sense of openness, clarity and dialogue with the surroundings of Antiparos.

The kitchen, conceived as the central interior space of the home, connects to a landscaped English courtyard that acts as a visual and light filter. This allows daylight to penetrate deep into the interior while introducing native vegetation. This specific feature enhances environmental quality without interrupting the overall spatial flow.

Natural light, combined with noble materials and local flora, immerses Villas Antiparos in a calm sensory dimension, where architecture does not impose itself but instead accompanies daily life naturally, creating spaces of comfort and calm.

MATERIALITY AND MEDITERRANEAN ATMOSPHERE

Texture, solidity and the passage of time

The project’s materiality is based on a careful selection of elements rooted in the local context. Native stone is used in walls, providing presence, stability and a strong connection to the lands...
