Grupo Élix Headquarters

The Grupo Élix Barcelona headquarters are based in an old modernist townhouse in the Pasaje Permanyer, one of the few Barcelona Eixample streets where historical pieces of Catalan architecture can be found.
Our intervention in this project was the remodelling of façades and interior design to best reflect the values of the company sited there. The 700m2 townhouse is divided into three floors and a small welcoming garden full of indigenous flora.
Social interaction, relaxation and wellbeing atmosphere
Taking into account that the work environment has changed over the last few years and evolved towards a setting for social interaction, relaxation and wellbeing, combined with productivity, the main challenge facing architectural and interior design was to centre the project around the employee.
Satisfaction of the company’s needs
So, we created a space that maximises employee contact with natural light and used noble materials and a minimally invasive palette of muted colour, resulting in a comfortable, non-artificial work environment. We have achieved an atmosphere which satisfies the company operative necessities whilst creating a modern work space which reflects its key values and its corporate image.
